# HedgeCollar > HedgeCollar is a prediction-market trading desk. It finds mispriced sports event contracts, turns them into disciplined plays with a maximum loss set before entry, and manages every position through settlement on Kalshi and Polymarket US. Website: https://hedgecollar.com/ Sign-in (existing desks): https://app.hedgecollar.com/app ## What it does HedgeCollar works in three steps: 1. **Find the edge.** Live prices for in-game sports markets are compared with a fair value fitted from historical base rates. Edges are shown after fees. 2. **Design the play.** A play sets the side, the trigger (in the sport's own clock: innings, quarters, periods, minutes or sets), the price band it will pay, the stake and the maximum loss in dollars. Plays start from built-in designs or are built from scratch in the Studio. 3. **Manage the position.** Once armed, the desk follows the game live. It enters only inside the price band, places the hedge that holds the loss floor, takes profit by rule, and follows every order until the market settles. ## Risk controls - **Max loss per play.** Set in dollars before entry and checked when a play is armed. - **Price bands.** No entry outside the range the trader set. - **One side per game.** The desk will not stack opposing positions on the same game. - **Stale orders are cancelled.** Resting orders are pulled when the score changes or a market is effectively decided. - **No guessing.** If a venue cannot be read, the desk stops instead of assuming. - **Receipts.** Every order is tracked on the venue and reconciled against the venue's own records, from intent to settlement. ## Markets and venues - Venues: Kalshi and Polymarket US.
